A recording made february 24th, 2019 in a residential section of a small midwestern town. . . The stiff north winds are rattling the remaining dry leaves. . . You will also hear the subtle singing of the birds that always greet you in late winter. . . Birds like house sparrows and starlings. From time to time, you'll hear the tinkly, nice sound of some wind-chimes hanging on the front porch of some house. The skittering of dried and old leaves scooting across the ground also makes an appearance. Enjoy this cold late-winter soundscape!. This was created by recording the sound of rain coming off of the corner of my house and hitting my pavement driveway. It was collecting in the corner of my roof, which is what made the sound louder and stronger than the sound of rain which was falling naturally.

The sound of a creaky door, recorded with my zoom h5. Processing: noise-removal (reafir), mild compression/coloration (molot vst), and convolution reverb (reverberate core; factory preset: medium plate ts).

Made this just walking on the road near my house, no car passings. There's a bit of gravel on the road kicked up from car tires. I just recorded this with my phone so it's not a perfectly clean recording (as far as background noise).

It's painful but it had to be done. . . Here's the field record of a demolition plant in the paris suburb of pantin. An old factory is beeing reduced to dust, prior to some housing developements. On this recording, you can hear one excavator actually tearing down the building while another one is sorting junk in the backyard. Recorded with a zomm h2n in x/y stereo mode.

Here's some ambience i recorded in 2021 when i went to surf side beach, texas for a weekend vacation with family. This was recorded from the decking of the house we were staying in. The beach was probably around 50 yards away from us, give or take a few feet. The ambience was recorded with the sennheiser ambeo smart headset (no longer made) connected to an apple iphone 8 with an app called backpack studio acting as the actual recorder.

This ambience was recorded during a film shoot in a house in a quiet part of a large city. It was about 3am so no cars. Action sounds have been edited so you get ambience only. Quiet useful i think. No need to credit. Enjoy!.
